Rita Biancardi is a London-based stylist and creative director exploring connections between fashion and art. Inspired by Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism, her work aims to arouse an emotional experience by narrating fashion through the universal language of shapes and color.
Also practicing in fields such as painting, sculpture and image-making, in her work Rita investigates the materiality and spirituality of clothing. Her approach to styling is conceptual, driven by the joy she finds in the act of making and shaping an idea. Central to her practice is the study of space, color and visual composition.
Rita strongly advocates a vision of fashion in terms of circularity and sustainability by working mainly with archive pieces and unwanted materials.
